Because coir is a natural material, some shedding is normal and slight variations in texture and appearance can occur.

Care & Placement:
For the longest-lasting appearance, we recommend positioning your Hydrangea Coir Mat in a sheltered or covered entrance rather than somewhere continuously exposed to rain.

Avoid allowing the coir to become excessively wet. If it does get wet, allow it to dry promptly. The source retailer also advises that scratching by pets or birds can damage the natural coir fibres and cause excessive shedding.

Take care when lifting or moving PVC-backed coir mats to reduce stress around the edges of the backing.
